Phanie is excited to teach her first community class and hopes you are as stoked as she is!  She will be teaching to Madison Avenue-Don't Call Me Baby.

Who is the Phanie Iceberg??
Stephanie 'Phanie Iceberg' Hagberg was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She always wanted to give dancing a shot, but never got the opportunity until she started high school in the fall of 2004. She danced on the Glendale High School Dance Drill Team, which is known for their eleven consecutive years of national championship titles at USA Nationals. During her four years on the team, Stephanie trained in jazz, contemporary, lyrical, coed dance, military, and hip hop. She was team captain her senior year and as she neared graduation, was offered a spot on the coaching staff. Stephanie coached the Junior Varsity team, leading them to a national championship title for the third year in a row. Stephanie has danced on ESUI, which is now Family Bizness, since June 2009, and is currently of the FamBiz directors. She is also a principal dancer for Boogiezone’s Breed Dance Company and is a dancer for the Culture Shock Los Angeles Dance Troupe. She also works on various projects such as Audrey Benson's "Encore", CJ Edward's "T2P", Ricky Cole's "Soul Fresh", and Richard Ha's "Sangeles". Stephanie is the front desk assistant at Jayvee Dance and is currently the administrative director for JVD's Teen Groov Street Dance Crew, while also instructing for their tiny tot ballet tap program. She currently is training in all styles of dance, and would like to thank her mother for her never-ending love and support.

Hey there!

Welcome to Oh My Phanie!

This site will mostly be about my life as a dancer--the journey I have taken to be where I am, the journey I am still embarking on to get where I want to be, and everything that inspires me to keep growing as a dancer and person.  I will be writing about topics that have affected my life, whether for better or worse, and how dancing helps heal me when times are tough.  I would like to share everything I have experienced, as well as different challenges or thoughts I encounter as I continue to live my life.  My main goals are to help people through any struggles they may be going through, share my knowledge and experiences with everyone, and inspire at least one person.

Thanks for visiting! Stay tuned for my first official post!
